I knew that Nina Lily Photography was going to be a great fit for Nicole and Adam's destination Philadelphia wedding at the Horticulture Center in Fairmount Park. Although Nicole and Adam live in Australia, I had the opportunity to sit down with Nicole and mother of the bride, Maria, on a planning visit home.

I was honored when Brittany & Chris approached me to document their wedding day. I had first met Brittany while she was in school at The University of the Arts where I was working in the Media Arts Department while I got Nina Lily Photography off the ground. 

I first met Lauren & Sean as bridesmaid & groomsman in several other weddings beginning in 2010. That year was special to me because I got married that year... so certain moments that I documented during that time make me really nostalgic! My first memory of this couple was documenting each of them catching the respective bouquet & garter. 

Kristen and Cody enjoy spending time outdoors together, so I suggested a walk through Wissahickon Park for their engagement session last spring. It was an unseasonably warm day and we made it all the way back to Devil's Pool before turning around.

Before having the opportunity to meet with Emily & Mike, I was briefed on their wedding plans and knew immediately that I wanted to document their day. While I hadn't met them yet, it seemed as if every choice that this couple was making kept true to their personalities. 

During our first phone conversation, Katie told me that her motto is "Decisiveness!". She had already decided to book me as her wedding photographer, depending on my availability, and the rest of her vendors had been assembled and booked.

When Mary & Wayne first came in to my Bethlehem office to discuss wedding photography options, Mary told me right away that she was a decisive person; most of their wedding plans had been hashed out once we began speaking about photography. It was important to incorporate both Western & Syrian traditions into the day but more than anything, Mary & Wayne wanted to have a wonderful evening with family & friends celebrating their marriage & union together.

I've known Kristy & Skip for quite a few years now, so I was thrilled when they asked me to document their wedding day. We had all worked together in the restaurant industry. Kristy & I tended bar while she was in school & I was getting my photography business started and I always enjoyed when Dee Jay Skipmode came through. After building a life together, Kristy & Skip got married surrounded by family & friends at the Abington Arts Center in Jenkintown. They had a beautiful day and it was great documenting and catching up with so many industry friends! 

I first met Brittany as she was completing her BFA in Photography at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Since I was working in the Media Arts Department at the time, I had had a lot of exposure to her beautiful portrait work.
