Brittany + Christopher | Stone House at Stirling Ridge Wedding
I was honored when Brittany & Chris approached me to document their wedding day. I had first met Brittany while she was in school at The University of the Arts where I was working in the Media Arts Department while I got Nina Lily Photography off the ground. Brittany was a really talented student and she was driven; I always appreciated that she had vision, goals & business sense! After we both moved on from UArts, we became colleagues as wedding photographers in the Philadelphia market and I have had the pleasure of working with Brittany on several Nina Lily weddings. This is all a long way of saying that having the opportunity to document Brittany & Christopher's wedding was awesome! I first got to know Brittany & Chris as a couple during their Philadelphia engagement session last spring. You can check out the imagery HERE. Although Brittany had moved out of Philadelphia to join Chris and work in the New York market, Philly was the obvious choice for engagement photos. It was really fun getting to know these two as a couple during the session. I immediately "got it". Brittany just glows when she is around Christopher and he is such a kind, genuine person. During the esesh, I found out a bit about their proposal story, which I have to share!
from the bride ~"It was a normal Monday afternoon. Chris had just picked me up from the train station and we made our way home. Moments after walking into the apartment, he hands me a memory card from my camera. He wanted to share a great photo he took on my camera... which was a bit odd. After scrolling through the images I see a photo of him holding a sign, "Will You Marry Me?"! I scream YES and find him next to me on one knee with ring in hand. It was the best moment!" Just perfect!
On a beautiful spring day, Brittany & Christopher said their vows surrounded by family & friends at Stone House at Stirling Ridge. This was a day that reminded me just how lucky I am to document genuine love stories. Please enjoy!
~ from the bride:"We just wanted everyone to have a great time! We wanted to throw a dance party! And really wanted to just have a great place to celebrate our wedding with everyone we love! We could really feel the awesome energy that night which is something we will never forget!"
