Curated Collaboration

Guided by reason, inspired by compassion, and informed by experience.

What is a Celebrant?

Celebrants are called to collaboratively curate the story arc of those who are drawn to ritualize the meaningful milestones of their lives. We are ceremonial facilitators and ritual creators, trained to guide and officiate. With inclusivity, compassion and respect, Celebrants work to support the values of all cultures, genders, orientations and faith. Ceremonies crafted and performed by Celebrants are a true reflection of those they honor.

about Christina | Certified Life-cycle Celebrant

After years of documenting love stories as lead photographer and founder of Nina Lily Photography, Christina Campbell sought to expand her skillset in a meaningful way. She was inspired by the compelling ceremonies that she witnessed being performed by a relatively new group of practitioners known as Celebrants. The signature telling of the couples’ story and curated ritual elements inherent in the marriage ceremony performed by these officiants, profoundly appealed to Christina.

Beginning in 2020, Christina sought celebrant certification with the Celebrant Foundation and Institute. She achieved her Wedding Celebrancy certification in 2021 and immediately began serving her community as a Humanist wedding ceremony facilitator.

Christina specializes in introspective and unique ceremonies. She strives to center each bespoke ceremony around the honorees whether agnostic, spiritual, atheist, humanist or traditionally religious. Christina is certified to perform secular, non-denominational, intercultural and interfaith wedding ceremonies.

Christina supports the values of the American Humanist Association in addition to her certification with the Celebrant Foundation and Institute. She is not ordained or affiliated with any particular religious groups and does not cross the lines of cultural appropriation.

The Process

MUTUAL DISCOVERY

Let’s Connect! Following your inquiry, we will schedule a time to get together to get better acquainted. This can be done at your convenience over the phone, via video chat or in-person at our communal studio space in the Lehigh Valley.

During our consultation, plan on discussing your unique story as a couple and your ceremony intentions. This is a time to answer immediate questions and to begin to go into greater depth about how we can honor your story, each other and your community should you desire.

ATTUNEMENT

It would be my honor to collaborate with you. Should you decide that our approach to ritual and ceremony lines up with your vision and values, we will make it official. To add your date to the Nina Lily Creative roster, we will sign a joint contract and secure your initial retainer. With this agreement in place, your date and our services will be officially booked.

DISTILLATION

What is important to you?

RACONTEUSE

The writing begins.

CELEBRATION

Your day has arrived and with reverence for your vision, we will perform your approved ceremony in a way that speaks to your unique story. We will hold space for you, your connection and expression; attending to the opportunity of each moment, you simply remain present.

LEGACY

We will submit the required paperwork to make your marriage official. Then, following your celebration, we will gift you copy of your heirloom ceremony; your love story preserved for future generations.
