Sarah + James | Bank Street Annex
I first met Sarah & James immediately prior to their engagement session on the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. It's always a bit nerve racking to me when all arrangements are made over the phone and I'm officially introducing myself right before I ask a couple to allow me to photograph them. But I had no need to worry, Sarah & James were great and after a few hours of shooting together, I couldn't wait for the wedding! Sarah & James were marred at Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Church in Hellertown, PA on a beautiful day in July. Photography was important to Sarah, so following the ceremony, she gave me plenty of time to work with everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed documenting the energy between Sarah & James. They had known each other since high school and had established a life together prior to their wedding; it was a pleasure to see what a wonderful day this was for them. Sarah's smile is infectious and I loved catching the look on James' face as he watched his bride. After spending some time walking around downtown Easton, PA, we headed on to The Bank Street Annex for the reception. Sarah's attention to detail was perfect. She played on the established art deco architecture of the converted bank to create a subtle vintage palette for her guests to enjoy.
"We really enjoyed the day and everything went smoothly. All the details came together and everyone had a great time. It went fast, but I was able to enjoy many moments during the reception. I (even) ate dinner, although I've heard that many brides say they didn't have time! I also managed to visit each table. Guests had fun with the photo booth and really enjoyed the candy bar. I really wouldn't change anything. It was an elegant and fun affair!"
