About Me | Nina Lily

I go by Christina but Nina is my family nickname. I’m the storyteller / image maker behind the camera at Nina Lily Photography.

I feel grateful to have the opportunity to turn my passion for image making, love and life into a wedding photography business. Being welcomed into my clients’ lives, and sharing and documenting such special moments in time, is truly an honor. 

On another note, I am inspired by floral farming & design, western landscapes, great food & drink, mountain air, old movies, vintage furniture, salon style wall displays, dive bars, hiking, family, bar glass collecting and my French Bulldog, Nora.

I call my style artistic documentation. I find inspiration with each love story and approach every event from a fresh perspective. Using a mix of suggested posing and candid capture techniques, I create a nostalgic collection of imagery for you and future generations. Above all, I am a documentarian and I strive to tell your story in the most creative ways possible.

Approach | Modern Nostalgia

I began studying fine art photography in college with an emphasis on antiquated processes and book arts and I consider myself classically trained. With this knowledge, I strive to bring my artistic sensibility to each event and meld classic aesthetics with a modern approach. Above all, having your image taken should be organic and fun on your wedding day. I think that it is extremely important to get to know you on a personal level so that on your day I am able to capture the joy of the moment. By putting in the extra time, I can provide a stress-free and genuine environment for you and your guests.
