A Holistic Background Rooted in Art Therapy, Mindfulness & Human Connection

Meet Christina, the Storyteller Behind Nina Lily Creative Photography & Ceremony

My name is Christina Campbell, and I am a wedding photographer, Humanist celebrant, and art therapist in training. I believe that stories deserve to be witnessed with presence, compassion, and creativity. My work lives at the intersection of identity, ritual, art, memory, and connection, and I serve couples across Philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley, and the Pocono Mountains with a warm, grounded, holistic approach.

Whether I am photographing a wedding, crafting a ceremony, guiding couples through mindful practices, or documenting a micro-wedding on a quiet mountainside, my goal is always the same: to help you feel seen.

Ecclectic Professional Identity

My approach is deeply shaped by ongoing professional training and certifications that influence how I witness people, hold space, and translate emotion into story:

Professional Certifications & Specialized Training.

  • Formal photography education, including analog and digital formats. Following graduation, I worked at UArts learning arts administration before starting my own photo business in 2009.

  • I received my certification from CF&I in 2021 and petitioned for endorsement by the Humanist Society shortly after. I continued my training with the Celebrant Academy of the Lehigh Valley.

  • I engage in ongoing graduate-level work in Art Therapy, with a clinical, trauma-informed foundation and experience supporting individuals and couples through creative and relational processes. Upon graduation, I will apply for my LPC licensure.

  • Gestalt psychotherapy informs my work with embodied awareness, authentic expression, and relational presence — helping couples relax, self-regulate, and connect more deeply.

  • Trained to support nature-based grounding, presence, attunement, and eco awareness — tools I weave into pre-ceremony practices and couples experiences.

  • Enhances my understanding of non-ordinary states, symbolic imagery, narrative transformation, and deep emotional integration.

  • Supports my work with life transitions, grief, meaning-making, and ceremony, and strengthens my ability to guide families through end-of-life rituals with tenderness and clarity.

The Heart of My Approach: Organic, Thoughtful, & Emotionally Attuned

In both photography and ceremony creation, my work is rooted in:

  • Attunement — noticing subtle emotional shifts

  • Empathy — making space for real emotion and nuance

  • Creativity — crafting imagery and ritual that feel alive

  • Narrative connection — telling the full human story, not just the curated moments

  • Calm direction — supporting couples with gentle, confident guidance

  • Cultural and relational sensitivity — honoring blended families, chosen families, and unique identities

Whether you’re eloping under the pines, hosting a small mountaintop micro wedding, or celebrating with everyone you love in Philadelphia, I bring a steady presence and a storyteller’s eye.

“Choosing to be honest is the first step in the process of love. There is no practitioner of love who deceives. Once the choice has been made to be honest, then the next step on love's path is communication.”

Bell Hooks, All About Love: New Visions

Community Involvement

My work is grounded in accessibility, dignity, and community care. I believe art and story belong to everyone, and that ceremony should lift up every identity, every love, and every family structure.

Justice-Aligned Work, Meeting People Where They’re At.

  • I contribute to educational work that bridges learning communities inside and outside the Lehigh County Jail. This work strengthens my commitment to human dignity, relational healing, and storytelling as justice.

  • I support creative programming that nurtures memory, orientation, joy, and connection for older adults living with cognitive decline. This experience directly informs my ability to work gently, attentively, and with deep respect for life transitions.

Let’s create something honest, lasting, and real.
