A Holistic Background Rooted in Ritual, Mindfulness & Human Connection

Meet Christina, the Storyteller Behind Nina Lily Creative Photography & Ceremony

My name is Christina Campbell, and I am a wedding photographer, Humanist celebrant, and art therapist in training. I believe that stories deserve to be witnessed with presence, compassion, and creativity. My work lives at the intersection of identity, ritual, art, memory, and connection, and I serve couples across Philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley, and the Pocono Mountains with a warm, grounded, holistic approach.

Whether I am photographing a wedding, crafting a ceremony, guiding couples through mindful practices, or documenting a micro-wedding on a quiet mountainside, my goal is always the same: to help you feel seen.

Christina’s Story

2020 Widow & 2025 wife

My story is one of beginnings, endings, and the quiet courage it takes to start again. In 2020, I became a widow. –– Losing my husband to cancer during the pandemic is an experience that reshaped the way I see love, time, and what it means to hold a life with both hands.

And then there was hope. I discovered my next chapter while climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and fundraising for cancer research in Peter’s memory. When I returned to our empty house, I walked an IVF journey that asked me to trust my body, my hope, and the possibility of a future that Peter and I had only dreamed about. Unfortunately, I wasn’t done holding hands with grief.

And then, life surprised me. I fell in love again, with myself and with a new chapter. This love feels grounding, expansive, and deeply true. It doesn’t overwrite what came before; it honors it. It reminds me daily that we are allowed to be both softened and strengthened by what we’ve lived through. In 2025, I became a wife again, marrying my partner, Mike.

All of my loss, hope, healing, and joy lives inside the way I work. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, writing a ceremony, or creating spaces for reflection and connection, I show up with presence, honesty, and a deep respect for the stories we carry. My work is rooted in lived experience, in tenderness, and in the belief that beginnings can meet us anywhere.

I am incredibly grateful for the journey that I am on, and I am so glad to meet you wherever you are on yours.

“Choosing to be honest is the first step in the process of love. There is no practitioner of love who deceives. Once the choice has been made to be honest, then the next step on love's path is communication.”
