Megan + Daphne | Fairmount Park Engagement Session

Daphne and Megan first met through a group of mutual friends at a South Philly Sunday brunch years ago. Daphne remembers Meg as the girl who made a killer Bloody Mary, the person who made her laugh the most and someone who immediately felt like she'd been a friend for years. Meg remembers Daphne that day as vivacious, funny and giving. She didn't just bring a six-pack, she brought a case to the party and that smile said it all!

The day of the proposal, Megan surprised Daphne with a bike ride through Philly. They ended the ride by sitting on benches at the Civil War Memorial. The structure is set so that the bench is a whispering wall. Meg sat on one end and Daphne on the other. Meg whispered, "Can you hear me?" Daphne said, "Yes." Meg then said, "Will you marry me?" Daphne said, "What!" Meg said, "I thought you could hear me!?!" Daphne then said, "YES! OF COURSE!"

Nina Lily Associate Photographer, Sam, met Meg and Daphne on a beautiful summer day in Fairmount Park. They explored the area with the couple's cute little pup. Meg has said that Daphne is giving and genuine, Daphne has said that Meg is funny and loving. I think that the imagery says it all.

We can't wait for the wedding! Enjoy!
